Crisis in the Transvaal.

[Per Press Association.] Pretoria, December 28. There is serious friction in the Transvaal, owing to the Nirtlanders organising a programme for equal rights. The National Union had formulated a programme demanding that the true repub lie aected the constitution on an equitable franchise, and the equality of the Dutch and British. Many of the prominent Nirtlanders are endeavouring to restrain the Union leaders. President Kruger is quietly preparing to resist any trouble. Maxim guns have been imported, and a quarter of a million sterling has been ex pended on forts at Pretoria and Johannesburg.
