A general meeting of the N.Z. Polo Association was held at Chriatchurch last week, Mr R. S. Abraham being the Manawatu representative. The date of the competition for the Saviile Cnp was discussed, and it was resolved, on the motion of Mr Abraham — "That it be a recommendation to the committee that the tournament be played at Palmeraton North on a date in March, to be fixed by the Committee of Management." The matter of the Junior Cup was next eon- , sidered. After a somewhat lengthy discussion, it was resolved on the motion of Mr Abraham—" That a Junior Cnp be • established on the same lines as the Saville Cup, with the proviso that entrance shall be confined to teams of clubs whose first teams are competing for the Saviile Cup and the firnt teams of clubs affiliated and playing their first or tecond seasons. "
