(Per Press Association.) | Auckland, Dec 23. : At Ellerslie this morning St. Hippo got through strong work op the tan in company with Stepfeldt. Oscillator merely cantered. Epaulet and Uniform ran a strong half mile. Qniltiri and The Possible each got through useful tasks. The Possible is favorite for the Cup at i 3to 1. St. Hippo is supported at sto 1. Quiltiri is quoted at 4 to 1, Impulse 6to i 1, Pegasus 10 to 1. The Possible coupled with Fishmonger and Tiritea are in most demand here for the Cup and i Steeplechase, and are quoted at 5 to 1.
