Handicap Hurdles, 2 miles— Tiritea, Bombardier, Ogoe, Dante, Pansy, Belrnont, Ladybird, Disturbance, Knapsack. Christmas Handicap, 1£ miles — Bonnie Scotland, Panoply, Fabulist, Mauser, Quiltiri, St Regel, Kingsman, Yattenfeldfc, Mantle. This morning at Ellerslie, Epaulet had a slight advantage of Uniform at the end of a smart run of six furlongs in lmin 20isec Daring and Defiance did half pace work, finishing up fast. Dante, who arrived yesterday, did steady work, and Tiritea had useful exercise. Osculator appeared to advantage in a gallop of six fartougs with St Ouida. Mauser covered a round at top speed, Musketry doing similar work. Kingsman had a lot the best of First Nelson at the business end of a mile and a quarter. Dxtnedin, December 20. At a meeting of the committee of the Jockey Club to-night the Farewell Handicap case was considered, and the stakes awarded to Hippomenes.
