A Volcanic Eruption.
o (Per Press Association.! Auckland, This Day. Captain Canes of the steamer Tekoa reports wben off Tologa Bay he observed what appeared to be a volcanic eruption.' Some miles inland a large column of smoke and fire suddenly shot into the air. The steamer was 10 miles off at the time. The captain considers that an eruption has taken place somewhere in the Uriwera Country.
