A dilatory claimant, Mrs Carl Peters, ' of Wellington, claims the section at the back of the Showground, purchased from Mr Cbristensen by the Manawatu and West Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Association . Apparently her claim is complete. She says the land was granted to her husband, whom she has not seen for nine years, under the Immigrants Land Act, 1873, and the offii cials of the Immigration Department i confirm that statement. She is talcing steps to have letters of administration , of her husband's property granted to ! ber to enable her to take possession — Standard.
