One of the most prominent desires of the Government was to bring the law to bear upon the people who triaft to grind the life blood out of human beings for a miserable profit. ■ Every other country in the world almost s had legislation protecting women and girls in factories. New South Wales was a disgraceful example to the whole world. As the head of the Government, he was determined the matter should be dealt without delay*
