(Per Press Association). Auckland, Dec 18. This morning St. Hippo, accompanied by Stepfeldt and Panoply, did good work. St. Hippo continues to pull up sound. Osculator and The Possible worked over twelve furlongs at a strong pace. linpnlse worked over the Cup distance. Pegasus did half-pace work. Quiltiri performed strong work. Musketry did three-quarter pace work. Bloodshot and Manser did strong exercise. Epaulet, Uniform, and St. Ouida did steady work. The favorite double for the Cup and Steeplechase is St. Hippo coupled with Tiritea and Fishmonger, at 100 to 6.
