Death of Mr W. Douglas.
News reached Campbelltown yesterday afternoon of tlje death of J^lr Douglas, who was an old and respected resident of Campbelltown. For many years Mr Douglas was a member of the jPrin^jtiye Meth,odist Church, and a most useful member of the Connexion. About two years ago he left Campbelltown, having leased hjs farm, and has since been travelling for the benefit of his health, lie had a severe attack of influen^a, and had been ailing from its effects. Mr D. oqglas w,as fop mapy years a co- partner with Mx if. Hanafcey, as blacksmiths (and wheelwrights, ap4 was very much respected* Great sympathy is expressed for Mrs Douglas., anil for Mrs Hauabey, Mr Douglas' sister. His death took place early yesterday, tear Hastings, where he has been staying. His mortal remains will be interred in the Campbelltown cemetery to-morrow afternoon, leaving the residence of Mr Hanabey, when, no doubt, a large number of friends will be present to see the last of a dear old friend.
