The liord Chief Justice decided that the conditions on the ticket were the terms of the contract, and that although plaintiff did not read them, but merely saw them, the Communication of the document to ' him was, in the circumstances of the case, reasonable notice to him of the terms and conditions upon which the defendants were willing to enter into the contract. The case was subsequently carried to the Court of Appeal, which also decided in favour of the company.
