AUCKLAND RACES.
(Per Press Association). Auckland, Dec 9. St. Hippo performed a capital gallop over a mile and a half this morning pulling up sound and well. Little betting is being transacted on the Cup. St. Hippo is a strong favorite at 3to 1. The favorite double Cup and Steeplechase— is St. Hippo and Fishmonger ; 100 to 6 has been taken.
