Tbe following despatch from the Secretary of State for the Colonies is Gazetted : — London, October I— l have tbe honor toatate for the information of your Government that the Secretary of State foi Foreign Affairs has received from the Chilian Minister at this Court a note, dated Brd September, 1895, renouncing the treaty of friendship, commerce, and navigation signed between Great Britain and Chili on 4th October, 1854.
