Nominations for all Handicaps, including Jumping events, must be sent to the Secretary on or before WEDNESDAY. 11th DECEMBER, not later than 8.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to for* ward Postal notes and not stamps. Two shillings on each Handicap Event to be paid on nomination, accompanied by a statement of Public performances for the last two years (matches included) with dates and localities of such performances ; the remainder of entrance fee on acceptance, which c*n be made on the .round. Other events post entries. Colors must be named on nomination. The Committee reserve' the right to run any race under 300 yards in heats. Amateurs must belong to a Club affiliated with the N.Z. A. A. Association, and. must produce ticket of membership from their Club Secretary. All Amateur events will be ran under the "New Zealand Amateur Atnletic Association Rules." The Bicycle Races will be run under Ibe Rales of the New Zealand Cyclists Union. The particular attention of competitors is drawn to Rule 25, which reads: — " Every Competitor must wear complete clothing fmm the shoulders to the knees ; that is jersey (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this Sale renders the competitor liable to be excluded fa"_ taking part in the Sports." Any competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name, or practising any fraud, sball be disqualified for life. Tbe Committee reserve the ' right to require any- competitor, either before or after any event to make a declaration as to his and the correctness of his des cription of his performances. ' The Com- , mittee map disQualiky and competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to moke the declaration, and he shall not be' entitled to claim any prize. There must be two competitors in each event or no first prize; three or no second ; four or no third. Entries will be received and Sports conduoted under the printed Rules of the' Feilding Athletic Club, obtainable from the Secretary, price ls.
