The value of the security for a loan is the price which the property may be estimated to fetch at auction, and no loan' can exceed half the value where the security is an eligible lease- | hold interest, or three-fifths of the value when an eligible freehold. Interest, 5 per cent, per annum, payable half-yearly, with 1 per cent, per annum in repayment of the loan. The borrower may at any time wholly repay the amount owing of loan, or partly, in sums of not less than £5 each.
