Nominations for all Handicaps, including jumping events, must be sent to the Secretary on or before WEDNESDAY, 11th DECEMBER, not later than 8.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to fora ward Postal notes and not stamps. Two shillings on each Handicap Event to be paid on nomination, accompanied by a statement of Public performances for the last two years (matches included) with dates and localities of such performances ; the remainder of entrance fee on acceptance, which cm be made on the ground. Other events post entries. Colors must be named on nomination. The Committee reserve the right to run any race under 300 yards in beats. Amateurs must belong to a Club affiliated with the N.Z.A.A Association, and must produce ticket of membership from their Clnb Secretary. All Amateur events will be run under the "New Zealand Amateur Atnkttc Association Rule 9." The Bicycle Races will be run under the Rules of the .New Zealand Cyclists Union. The particular attention of competitors is drawn to Rule 25, which reads : — " Every Competitor must wear complete clothing from the shoulders to the knees ; that is jersey (sleeved to elbow), and loose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this Rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded fr»m taking part in the Sports." Any competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name, or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Committee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after any event to make a declaration as to his identity and the correctness of his des enption of bis performances. The Committee may disqualify and competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to make the declaration, and he shall not be entitled to claim any prize. There must be two competitors in each event or no first prize; three or no second ; four or no third.
