The Grand Jozy threw out the bill against ex Constable Hester, of Pabiataa, for perjury. Dckedin, Dec. 2. At the Supreme Court to day,. John Coleman, for committing an unnatural offence, was sentenced to fifteen years' - imprisonment. Justice was meted out with despatch in one case to-day. A man and woman were charged with stealing a watch and chain from a farmer who came into town for the Show. The Bench did not consider there wassufficient evidence against the man, and discharged him, but the ~ woman, Margaret Buckingham by name, was committed fox trial. The matter was at once submitted to the Grand jury, who found a true bill. As the petty jury found the woman guilty, she Was sentenced to four years' imprisonment. .
