London Wool Sales.
, 0 (Per Press Association.l London, November 30. At the wool sales there was spirited competition, and prices are very firm. The N.Z.L.and A.M. Company report as follows: — Wool — U under date 26th, our London office cables as follows :— " The sales opened scarcely at tbe levol of last sales. Faulty has declined £d per lb. Attendance of Home and foreign buyers is good, and competition fairly active. The total quality available, including wool held ooer from last series, is 190,000 bales, of which 20,000 bales have been forwarded to the manufacturing districts direct." Since receipt of the foregoing, press cables advise prices firm, with a better spirit prevailing. This decline has not affected the Australian markets. Both in Melbourne and Sydney tbe rises have been -well maintained, and competition at the latter sales is even keener. Locally the improvement in the weather during the past few days is most welcome to the sheep farmer.}
