Time 2min 38 4 sth seo. Victoria Mile— Payne, 60yds, l,Pither 40yds, 2, Megson, 40yds. 3. Won easily. Five heats of the Austral Wheel Race were decided, and the race will be completed on Saturday next. Parsons put up a record for the Australian half-mile covering the distance in 57 l-sth sec. Harris, the English champion, and Zimmerman are matched for a mile race contest, which takes place on New Year's Day. _____
