New South Wales Taxation.

(Per Press Association.) Sydney, November 27. After a lengthy debate, the Legislative Assembly adopted the report of the Conference on the Land and Income Tax Bill. Now that the difficulty between the two Houses is practically ended, the prorogation will probably take place within a fortnight or three weeks. The new taxation, which was intended to have dated from July of the present year, will not now come into operation before January. It is understood that the Government is willing that the Coun.cil should amend the Bill to this effect.
