Colonial Companies in London.
A London newspaper, the . Australian Trading World, publishes particulars of the mining and other Colonial enterprises which have been assisted of late in development by British capital. During the months of July, August and September, sixteen New Zealand companies with an aggregate capital of L 2,185,100 were registered, and the total for nine months was 29 companies, with a capital of L 3,281,100. The Western Australian companies registered in London during July, August, and September, were' 176 in number, with a aggregate capital of L 1 7,612,367. There were seven companies registered from New South Wales, with an aggregate capital of L 1.275,00 0; the Victorian companies registered (12) had a capital of £1,158,100 ; the Queensland companies, £195,000 ; the South Australian companies, £250,000 ; the Tasmanian eoaipgnieg, £270,000. There were thus registered for the three months, from the Australian colonies and New Zealand, 220 companies, with a total capital of £22,945,567.
