The Midland Railway Case.

Wellington, Nov. 27. Sir Robert Stout concluded his opening speech for the Government in the Midland Baihvay arbitration case shortly after three o'clock this afternoon. The Court required Mr Hutchison to furnish the additional particulars of the claim asked for by the other side, and Mr Hutchison undertook to do so at once. This Day. In the Arbitration Court this morning the solicitor for the Midland Company filed amended particulars of the claim under which the Company claims to recover the sum of £1,817,900, together with 5 per cent per annum.
