TABLEAUX VIVANTS ENTERTAINMENT.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,— Considering the unprecedented success that attended the efforts of those ladies and gentlemen who produced the novel, excellent, and attractive entertainment of Friday evening last, might I suggest to those good people that a repetition of the programme in aid of another deserving object — say the State School (and that does need monetary assistance)— would be received in the same broad-minded and liberal spirit as was shown in the first production, and ask them to put the matter in hand at once and achieve another grand success. Trusting that the smaller obstacles in the way may be dispensed with or some definite action taken. I am, &c, Appreciation.
