The Drought in Australia.
DISASTIIOUS EFFECTS. (Per Press Association.) Sydney, November. 21. The drought iv the back country is having a disastrous effect on the overlaud cattle trade between Queensland and Victoria. The drovers state that the stock route for hundreds of miles is completely bare of feed aud water, and is lined with dead cattle which have perished from want of food and water. Cattle en route to any distance in the North never reach their destination, and no Queensland bullocks may be expected in the Victorian market for at least the next twelve months.
