Before concluding this letter I wish to say in case " Parva Sol " should take offence at my hayi»g suggested that he might have chosen a more suitable name, I bad uo intention whatever of finding fault with his Latin. Although I don't profess to be much of a grammarian, much less of a Latin scholar, I construed the meaning of bi.s signature to be " a little feminine sun " (parya being the feminine gender of parvus), whereas parve would, in my opinion, literally mean " not much sunshine." I am, etc., SAML. GOODBEHERE. Feildiug, 21st November, 1895.
