Distressing Death of an Infant.
(Per Press Association). Invercargill, Nov. 21. A distressing death through misadventure has occurred at Mataura. Mrs Martin Maley had been rubbing her 18---months-olii boy with painkiller, and set the bottle down. The child picked it up, and, going to the cradle, poured its content into the mouth of a seven weeks-old infant, causing spasms and inflammation of the lungs, from which tbe cbi|d died.
