Manchester Rifles.
The third competitions for Capt. Kirton's rifle (Martini class) and Mrs Kirton's watch (Snider class) took place yesterday. Following are the scores : —
Previous winners — Yola McMillan and W. Menz. The annual inspection by Colonel Fox of the Manchester Rifles will take place on Wednesday, December 4th, at 7.30 p.m., when the corps will be exercised at company drill, etc., at the hour named, and again on the following morning at outpost duty at 5 o'clock.
