Butter Grading and Dairy Inspection.
The work of butter grading, dairy inspection, and instruction, carried out by the Agricultural Department, has been thoroughly organised now. There has been an increase of thestaff of inspectorinstructors of the colony, and by an apportionment of districts its is expected that these officers— who,' in addition to acting the part of instructors, also carry out the work of inspectors— will get into close touch with the dairy farmers of their respective districts. The dairy divisions of the coloay with the inspectorinstructors for each aro as follow: — Auckland district, Mr Waite ; Taranaki district, Mr Sorensen ; Wellington, West Coast, and Hawko's Bay, districts, Mr Sawere; district north of Dunedin, Mr X*ng; district south of Puuedin, Mr Bobbiiuk
