A Melbourne Outrage.

(Per Press Association.) Melbourne, Novr. 19. A young married woman named Milly Marshall, living apart from her husband at North Melbourne, made a sensational report to the police. She was much excited, and the story could only be got from her with difficulty. She stated that while going home froißi the house of some friends she was accosted by five men. One gripped her by the throat and threw her down, holding her while the other four outraged her. She screamed for assistance, and' a young man named Henry Sterling was attracted to the spot, and on his approach the men ran away, At the place there were evidences of a struggle, and the woman and her clothes showed sign 3of having been very roughly used. Sterling accompanied her to the Police Station, and when her complaint bad been noted the woman was taken to the Melbourne hospital. — Post.
