Nominations for all Handicaps.including Jumping events, must be sent to the Secretary on or before WEDNESDAY. llth DECEMBER, not later than 8.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to for» ward Postal notes and not stamps. Two shillings on each Handicap Event to be paid on nomination, accompanied by a statement of Public performances for the last two years (matches included) with dates and localities of such performances ; the remainder of entrance fee on acceptance, which en be made on the .round. Other events post entries. Colors must be named on nomination. The Committee reserve the right lo run auy race under 300 yards in heats. Amateurs must belong to a Club affiliated with the N.Z. A. A Association, and must produce ticket of membership from their Clnb Secretary. ; All Amateur events will be rua under the "New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association Rules." The Bicycle Races will be run under tbe Rules of the New Zealand Cyclists Union. The particular attention of competitors i- drawn to Rule 25, which reads: — " Every Competitor must wear complete clothing from the shoulders to the knees ; i bat iB jersey (sleeved to elbow), and 'oose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this Rule renders the competitor liable to be excluded fr m taking part in the Sports.' Any competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name, or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Committee reserve the right to require any competitor, eitber before or after any event to make a declaration as to his identity and tbe correctness of his des cription of his performnnces. The Committee may disqualitv and competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to m«ke tbe declaration, and he shall not be entitled to claim any prize. There must be two competitors in each event or no first prize; three or no second ; four or no third. Entries will be received and Sports conducted under the printed Rules of the Feilding Athletic Club, obtainable from the Secretary, price Is. Admission to Gates : Aduhs Is ; Children between 8 and 12 years, half-price ; under 8 years free. Full band in attendance and a spacious lianoDg platform provided on the Lawn.
