Mr Gilruth, Government Veterinary Surgeon, leaves for Sydney by the Hauroto on Friday, en route to Paris to take his bacteriological course at the Pasteur Institute. He goes on leave on fall pay, bat will bear all his own expenses. He expects to be. a way from seven to eight months.
