.» _ THE SULTAN FURIOUS. (Fer Press Association.) Constantinople. Nov. 18. The Sultan has ordered the mobilisation of five thousand troops. He is furious at his Ministers protesting. There are no funds to carry out military arrangements, and he is trying to borrow a million sterling. A number of seditious placards which had been posted on tbe mosques in the city were afterwards placed on the Sultan's table in the palace. Germany is sending an ironclad to tho Levant. The Bishop of Aleppo was discovered to be urging the Bishop of Orfali to send arms to Zeithun, where the barbarity of the rebels is said to equal that of tho Turkish soldiers. The Armenians state that one hundred thousand of their countrymen are dying of starvation and exposure, and they have asked to be permitted to present a petition to the Queen of England praying for help and protection. Aden, Nov. 18. A force of forty thousand Arabs armed with Martini-Henri rifles inflicted three defeats on the Turks in the Yemen district, Arabia, and are now besieging Sana, the capital.
