THE LOSS OF THE STEAMER EDGAR'S LAUNCH.

Barley has been sentenced to three and a half years' imprisonment for complicity in tbe St Pancrass station robbery. The police have found six more ingots buried in a garden at Dalston. Only three ingots are now missing. Dr Wilberforce, Bishop of Newcastle, has been appointed Bishop of Chichester. New South Wales 3 per cent stock is at 95*. Particulars of the loss of the Edgar's launch show that it was returning from Loze Island, when a heavy sea capsized it when a mile from the ship. Twentythree were saved. Paris, Nov. 19. The Chamber of Deputies, after a lively debate on the arrest of Arton, passed a vote of confidence in the Government by a large majority. Niiw York, Nov. 19. / The New York Yacht Club will enquire into Lord Dnnraven's charges of foul play against the Defender. His Lordship proceeds to America for that purpose.
