Messrs Gorton & Son report : We held a very successful sale at Awahuri yesterday. A good demand existed for forward bullocks and all yarded sold. Fat cows £4 2s 6d ; forward bullocks, £4 16s 6d to £5 ; store cows £3 10s ; weaners and 2-yrs 20s to 30s. Sheep : Fat shorn wethers 8s IOd ; shorn mixed hoggets, 6s ; shorn fat ewes 6s lld ; woolly hoggets, 10s 7d and 8s 3d.
