(Per Press Association.) Wellington. Nov. 19. The Post says :— lt is understood Sir P. Buckley will accept the proferred Judgeship, but that he will immediately be granted leave of abaence on the ground of ill health, and in the meantime acting Judge Williams will be appointed to cope with the accumulation of tbe work. It is also understood that the Premier is in communication with Sir Westby Pereival | with a view to his consenting to nomin- \ ation for the Christchurch seat in the ■ event of the Minister for Labor going to London as Agent- General.
