KIWITEA COUNTY COUNCIL. "VyOTICE is hereby given that the JJ% following Special Order was adopted at a special meeting of thjs Council on Saturday, 19th October, and it is proposed to confirm the same at a Special Meeting of the said Kiwitea County Council, to be held on Wednesday, 27th November, 1895 : — Proposed Special Order — " That this Council, under the provisions of ' The Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886/ and under and by virtue of a Warrant issued under the hands of His Excellency tne Governor of New Zealand, dated the 13th day of April, 1595, authorising the Pohangina County Council to construct a Bridge over the Oroua River on the Birming-ham-Apiti Road, and apportioning the cost of the said bridge, borrow the sum of £495 18s 8d for the purpose of providing share of the cost of erecting a Traffic Bridge over the Oroua River, and make approaches thereto, and all other work necessary for completion of the said bridge in accordance with abovementioned warrant, and that a special rate of l-90th of a penny in the £ be made upon the rateable value of the whole of the rateable property (Crown and Native lands excepted) within the Kiwitea County, for the purpose of providing interest on above loan of .£495 18s Bd, to be borrowed under 41 The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886"; such rate to be annuallyrecurring for 26 years, and to be payable in equal halfyearly instalments on the first days of April and October in each year.
