The Wheat Yield.
> (Per Press Association) Sydney, This Day. The local wheat market is easier, though ' there is no change in prices. The present tone of the market ia due chiefly to the forthcoming importation of Californian wheat. The first steamer from Frisco is expected within 30 days, and already 1000 tons of her cargo has been sold. The following London telegram has been received by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Ltd), under date 12th November : — Wheat- - Market weak, New Zealand wheat longberried and average are worth respectively 25s 6d and 24 6d per 4961 bs landed. Quotations nominal.
