(Per Press Association.) Adelaide, Nov. 13. In the South Australian second innings F. Jarvis and Jones made an unexpected stand for tbe last wicket. The former played a fine aggressive innings and his companion, who has never been noted for bis batting, scored with great rapidity, punishing all bowlers alike. The innings terminated for 820. Jarvis made 68 and Jones 66, but despite their efforts the local men were beaten by 66. Carlton took 3 wickets for 39, H. Trott three for 63, Harry 2 for 58, A. Trott 1 for 82, Roache 1 for 74.
