Young Conqueror was bred in the Patea district, and his first seasons foals are splendid specimens of draught stock. Young Conqueboe was foaled in 1885, got by Old Conqueror, dam Olive ; Olive by Surprise out of Wellington mare, whose dam was imported from Tasmania. Olive has taken four first prizes at Ha« wera A. and P. Shows, and has nevei been beaten in the Show ring. Young Conquebob took first prize as a two year-old at Hawera A. and P.
