Shocking Tragedy at Wellington.

(Per Press Association). Wellington, This Day. A sad tragedy was reported from Newtown thia morning. Isaiah Fake, a bricklayer, aged about 51, living in Drumuiond street, after a difference with his wife this morning, drew a revolver and shot her through the neck, the bullet entering the right side of the windpipe and coming out at the back of the neck. Fake then turned the weapon on himself, { and the bullet entered his heart, death being almost insantaneous. Fake was only married a few months, his wife being a Mrs Skinner, from Kelson. Her husband secured a divorce'on the grounds of her adultery with the deceased. Fake was known to be of eccentric habits for some time, and his wife quite recently epoke of obtaining police protection. Mrs Fake was removed to the hospital. The tragedy took place at 7.45 this morning.
