Grocers decline to purchase butter at the present prices and they are likely to continue in their opposition until prices fall to a figure ruliog in November of last year. At the sale of sheepskins there was poor competition. Merinos brought a half penny lower, and crossbreds par to halfpenny lower, as compared with last sales. Tallow — Medium mutton 21s 3d to 21s 9d. i The English wheat market has declined sixpence. Continental is dull and American declining and weak.
