The Timber Industry.
I Per Press Association I Wellington, Nov. 8. Mr Freyberg has been reappointed limber expert for New Zealand, [and he starts immediately a thorough inspection of the principal mills throughout the colony. Lately he has succeeded in reducing the landing charges and freight on timber in London by 3s Id per 100 ft, and during his tour will place before sawmillers improved facilities for the export trade.
