Nominations for all Handicaps, including Jumping events, must be sent to the Secretary on or before WEDNESDAY, 11th DECEMBEB, not Uter than 8.30 p.m. Competitors are requested to fora ward Postal notes and not stamps. Two shillings on each Handicap Event to be paid on nomination, accompanied by a statement of Public performances for the last two years (matches included) with dates and localities of such perform* ances ; the remainder of entrance fee on acceptance, which c*n be made on the ground. Other events post entries. Colors must be named on nomination. The Committee reserve the right to run any race under 300 yards in heats. Amateurs must belong to a Club affiliated with the N.Z.A.A Association, and must produce ticket of membership from their Club Secretary. All Amateur events will be run under the "New Zealand Amateur Atnletic Association Bules." The Bicycle Baces will be run under the Bules of the JN ew Zealand Cyclists Union. The particular attention of competitors is drawn to Bule 25, which reads : — " Every Competitor must wear complete clothmg from the shoulders to the knees ; that is jersey (sleeved to el how), and loose drawers or trunks. Neglect of this Bule renders the competitor liable to be excluded fr^m taking part in the Sports." Any competitor found guilty of sending in false performances, running under an assumed name, or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Committee reserve the right to require any competitor, either before or after any event to make a declaration as to his identity and the correctness of his des cnption of his performances. The Committee may disqualify and competitor before or after any event who shall refuse to make the declaration, and he shall not be entitled to claim any prize. oust be two competitors in each •vent or no first prize; three or no second ; four or no third.
