Young Conqueror was bred in the Patea district, and his first seasons foals are splendid specimens of draught stock. Young Conqubbob was foaled in 1885, got by Old Conqueror, dam Olive ; Olive by Surprise out of Wellington mare, whose dam was imported from Tasmania. Olive has taken four first prizes at llawera A. and P. Shows, and has never been beaten in the Show ring. Young Conqukbob took first prize as a two-year-old at Hawera A. and F.
