The report was adopted with a further clause proposed that only clubs using the totaliaatqr have a vote in the election of delegates. Captain Russell was elected chairman, and Sir Geo. Clifford deputy chairman. It was decided that representatives should interview the Colonial Secretary with a view to the suppression of totalisator shops, which were known to exist in various towns in the colony. It was resolved to communicate with the Colonial Secertary stating that the matter of which of two clubs should be authorised to use the tofcalisafcor for the ensuing year having been referred to Sir Geo. Clifford, he had decided that the Fordell Club should not have the authority. It was also resolved to ask the Colonial Secretary to send iv a return of clubs given permits to use the totalisator. [As the Racing Conference has recommended to take a day from the FordellJockdy Club, Peilding will now have the same number of totalisator days as heretofore, provided always the Colonial Secretary concurs with the recommendation of the Conference. 1 ,
