An Important Discovery.
(Per Press Association.) Sydney, Nov. 4. As the result of exhaustive investigations the Agricultural Department's expert has discovered that an intermediate host of the dreaded sheep fluke is the common land snail. The discovery is considered to be world-wide, and of scientifib and general importance. It will form the grounds of recommendations to be issued shortly for checking the disease. It has also been ascertained that the greatest friend of sheepowners in destroying the snails is the bird known as the common peewhee.
