It is worth bringing the attention of breeders to his tabulated pedigree, and would point out that the imported Nightlight is the g. grandam of St. Hippo, . that Nightlight visited Fireworks, and begat Lamons, who in turn visited Bob*, inson Crusoe and begat Hippona, dam of St. Hippo, so that Handsome Jack olaims to be bred on the same line, and- with the only addition of Maribyrnong his blood aud breeding are identical. Also, that Sunshine visited Robinson Crusoe, and the result was Sextant, the fastest horse in all the colonies, and the present record for half a mile (471 sec) was established by him as a two-year-old in Christchurch, 1886.
