"VT OTICE is hereby given that the J3I following Special Order was adopted at- a Special Meeting of this Council on Saturday, 19th October, and it is proposed to Confirm the same at a Special Meeting of the said Kiwitea County Council, to be held on Wednesday, 27th November, 1895 : — Proposed Special Order — " That this Council, under the provisions of 'The Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,' and under and by virtue of a Warrant, issued under the hands of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand, dated the 18th day of March, 1895, authorising the Feilding Borough Council to construct a Bridge over the Kiwitea River on the deviation of the Kimbolton Road in the Borough of Feilding, aud apportioning the cost of the said bridge, to borrow the sum of £375 for the purpose of providing share of the cost of erecting a Traffic Bridge over the Kiwitea River at Feilding and make approaches thereto and all other work necessary tor completion of the said bridge, in accordance with abovementioned warrant, and that a Special Rate of 1-1 00 th of a penny in the £ be made upon the rateable value of the whole of the rateable property (Crown and Native lands excepted) within the Kiwitea County for the purpose of providing Interest on above loan of £375, to be borrowed under " The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886 " ; such rate to be annually-recurring for 26 years, and to be paynble in equal half-yearly instalments on the first days of April and October in each year."
