Wairarapa A. and P. Show.
(Per Press Association.) Welunoton, October 31. The Wairarapa A. and P. Show opened to-day with a total of 1283 entries. The principal exhibitors and prize-takers in , sheep «c '—Messrs W. K. Bucknmn, Williams and Beetham, J. Raynor, Bidwill Bros, W.B. Allen and A. Matthews, all of whom- represent Wairarapa. Mr A. Elkins secured the gold medal for Jnrebred Ayrshire cow and bull I; Mr A. [cHardy the gold medal for Shorthorn bull! Mr H. Clay is the most successful exhibitor in the Jersey class. The other championships have been awarded to— Mr J. Stuckey, purebred Hereford bull ; Messrs Williams and Beetham, purebred Hereford cow, also grade Shorthorn heifer ; Messrs Gray Bros, grade Shorthorn ■ bull. In the thoroughbred stalHon class Egalite was awarded the gold medal and Administrator highly commended.
