The Colonial Bank.

o (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION) Dunedin, October 30. There was a large attendance of shareholders at the adjourned halfyearly meeting of the Colonial Bank, Mr P. C. Neill waß in the chair, and the only other director present was Dr Hislop. The Chairman moved the adjournment to the 20th November, and this was carried, bat not before Mr R. Watson made an appeal for the declaration of the dividend earned, and Mr W. Ramsay had entered a protest against adjourning until a date later than fixed for the special meeting to consider the proposal of the sale of the Bank to the Bank of New Zealand when, he said, all interest in the balance-sheet for the half-year would be gone. The special meeting is called for the Bth November.
