rPer Press Association ) PAEig, October 29. The motion of M. Ronaroits that an enquiry be held into the Southern Railway scandal and those connected with it prosecuted, was carried in tbe Chamber, by 101. It was in consequence of this that the Premier wbo strongly opposed the motion, resigned. His resignation has been accepted by the President. The Socialists and Conservatives united and secured an unexpected -victory. The Chamber of Deputies unanimously decided not to permits its members to participate in financial syndicates.
